At Mattocks we have started to offer an exciting new range of leather bag making workshops for those that want to learn how to make their own leather bags. Our first workshop with our hosts, Handmade Nottingham will focus on: how to make a leather box bag? We hope to add more bag making workshops at this first one sold out very quickly. Other workshops may include: how to make a saddle bag? How to make a backpack? And also a series of ‘Christmas Crafternoons” whereby customers can come and make their own sustainable Christmas gifts and small Items. This new approach to making your own Gifts rather than buying from the high street will hope to be a popular and emotionally durable way to create and gift products while also learning some new skills with a community of makers and crafters.
